Types of Fans

The below list of fittings illustrates the tool icon along with the <schema name> <item name> used in above key in syntax, and the description of the fitting.

BifurcatedFan "Default" Bifurcated Fan — Tube axial fan (ducted) with blades located in the airstream, and the motor is mounted outside a bifurcated (divided) duct. Supported with optional base.
CentrifugalUtilityFan "Default" Centrifugal Utility Fan — Utility centrifugal fans are designed for supply, exhaust and return air applications requiring low to medium air volumes and pressures. The Fan and the motor housing unit is mounted securely on a stand. The SFD (direct drive) feature quiet and efficient forward curved wheels. Suitable for ducted exhaust, supply and return-air applications with clean air.
ExhaustFan1 "Default" Exhaust Fan - Type1 — A typical exhaust fan introduced in the exhaust system to enhance infiltration or natural ventilation, thus increasing the ventilation air flow rate.
ExhaustFan2 "Default" Exhaust Fan - Type2 — Ventilation fans with terminal casing that out flow the hot air to keep the temperature and humidity at desired level.
InlineAxialFan "Default" Round Inline Axial Fan — Axial fans having integral inlet and outlet flanges with mounting holes provide an airtight ductwork connection allowing straight-through airflow across the ducts.
InlineAxialFan "Motorized" Round Inline Motorized Axial Fan — Power operated axial fan mounted with motor assembly.
JetFan "Default" Jet Fan — An unidirectional jet fans used for ventilation of car parks and large spaces where polluted air needs to be removed effectively. Suitable for tunnel ventilation, and often part of concepts for fire fighting and hot smoke removal in connection with fires.
MarkTenRoofFan "Default" Mark Ten Roof Fan — This roof fan is easily accommodated on all building profiles and it allows other fans/AHU's to interface directly.
OvalFans1 Centrifugal Oval Centrifugal Fan — Centrifugal fan with oval connections for ventilation in oval routes. Can set to motor operated mode.
OvalFans2 Axial Oval Axial Fan — The oval duct inline axial fans with oval inlet and outlet are used in various industries as exhaust air system, can directly be installed at duct line.
RectangularFans1 Centrifugal Rectangular Centrifugal Fan — Centrifugal fans used in transporting air and gases and in ventilation system for buildings and commonly in central heating/cooling systems. Comprises inlet and outlet for rectangular ducts. Can set to motor operated mode.
RectangularFans2 Axial Rectangular Axial Fan — Axial fans blow air along the axis of the fan, linearly, applied inline rectangular duct for air conditioning and industrial process applications.
RoundFans1 Centrifugal Round Centrifugal Fan — The round inline centrifugal fans with motorized impeller can exhaust up round duct routes without the use of adapters or transitions.
RoundFans2 Axial Round Axial Fan — The round duct inline axial fans used in various industries as exhaust air system, can directly be installed at duct line.
SingleSpeedFans "Default" Single Speed Fan — A single-speed quiet operation ventilation fan used to remove moisture, carbon dioxide and odors.
TerminatorRoofFan "Default" Roof Exhaust Fan — Motor operated exhaust fan designed to pull large volume of hot air out of the building commonly venting into a building's attic.
CentrifugalUpblastExhaustVentilator "Default" Centrifugal Upblast Exhaust Ventilator — Centrifugal Direct Drive Fans are designed to pull more air under higher static pressures and exhaust air, smoke or fumes. The propeller positioning allows heat and humidity exhaust from the surrounding.
RadialCentrifugalSmokeExtractFan "Default" Smoke Fan — The Centrifugal Smoke Extract fan designed with centrifugal blower suitable for exhaust of air, gas, dust and smoke like material handling. Safeguards pollution as well as fumes and strong smells.
RoofUpblastFan "Default" Roof Upblast Fan — The Axial-type Upblast Roof Ventilator does quiet and efficient air handling, and immediate dispersal of all exhaust air high above the building, by preventing re entry of exhaust fumes through adjacent windows or air intake ducts.
CentrifugalInlineFan "Default" Round Centrifugal Inline Fan — Designed for supply and exhaust ventilation systems along the round ductwork.
CentrifugalInlineFan "Motorized" Round Centrifugal Inline Motorized Fan — Power operated propeller assembly mounted within a cylindrical shroud or round duct. Provision of shaft for motor mounting, suitable for ducts and the size of the blast pipe.
RectGooseneck RectGooseneck Gooseneck — Gooseneck vents used as off-ridge vents on roofs provide exit paths to enable air exchange in an attic space, with fresh air entering through soffit vents and leaving the attic via the gooseneck vents near the ridge. Enables setting bent angle and with cowl.
RoofCurb RoofCurb Roof Curb — Used as roof support structures for fans and ventilators. Roof curbs can be set canted, raised cant style or straight sided.
RectangularChimneyCap Default Rectangular Chimney Cap — An 'Intake Hood' component used as rectangular cap (China Caps).
RoundChimneyCap Default Round Chimney Cap — An 'Intake Hood' component used as round cap.
